Joining the team at Social Bite as an Assistant Financial Controller your main tasks will be:
- Maintaining purchase ledger
- Reconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepancies
- Maintaining sales ledger and credit control function
- Bank reconciliation
- Expenses and petty cash management
The ideal intern will be educated to degree level with a background in finance or other related subject and be looking to start a career in finance and accountancy. You must have a sound understanding of basic accounting principles, and be able to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail. You will be able to demonstrate that you can handle confidential information in an appropriate manner.
You will have strong analytical skills, be a motivated self-starter able to work independently with minimum supervision. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, initiative and ability to work well within a small team.
