EVMT stands for Earned Value Management Team – EV is a key project analysis function and core to what we do. The graph on the advert and my business cards reflects this EV approach. Prog part of ProgRess refers to programme and Ress for the resource management that is another key function.
The Assistant Project Manager will provide assistance and support to HERMES PMO and Programme Manager. Your responsibilities will focus on three main aspects:
2. To liaise with various groups to market the above and identify potential new work.
•Analysis of report data to produce status (RAG) reports
•Analysis of report date to produce Milestone Slip and Earned-Value report
•Help maintain the RAID Log
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a background in/knowledge in business studies, with a high level of mathematical/financial literacy and some knowledge of digital communication and marketing. The organised individual will have experience in minute taking (Document Library Management) and preferably a demonstrable track record in a similar administrative role.
You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work efficiently without supervision. Being a team player and working well with others, in striving to deliver results, are also important traits. You must have strong IT knowledge of available software tools but particularly MS Office - including MS Project, Powerpoint and Excel.
The graduate should have a solid understanding of Project/Change Management principles and methods.
