Assistant Studio Manager/Front of House with Toad's Caravan

Location: Glasgow
£8.25 per hour
20 hours per week for 12 weeks

The Role
Toad’s Caravan is looking for an enthusiastic graduate to join their team. Within this role your main tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Greeting and assisting clients, visitors and studio residents. TC are opening a new co-working space this Spring. We hope our new studio manager will work to assist new residents and support them in their day to day needs.
• Assisting with administrative tasks such as answering the phone
• Marketing the co-working space
• Helping refurbish the new space, not only in practical ways but with sharing ideas as well
• Assisting in any workshops, events or photo shoots in the studio

Requirements
The candidates should be educated to degree level, creative and self-motivated, ideally with an interest in space, interiors and communities. The key qualities that a graduate should have is to be flexible, open minded and versatile as the projects we undertake are usually quite diverse.

You should also be able to take initiative, prioritise and adapt to different situations. The ideal candidate will be interested in film, design, costume, making things and working with kids as we often receive project proposals for creative work with children.

Toad’s Caravan is a bespoke creative agency and production house based in Glasgow. Founded by Joanna Süsskind in 2010, TC launched as a collective of filmmakers, animators and designers. Joanna has a passion for marrying visuals and creative thinking to help her clients achieve and realise their goals. Joanna is also very interested in work spaces and how your environment and the people around you affect your creativity.
