Business Analyst Intern with Serco

Serco has been invited to take part in the next stage of bidding to win a new contract to provide west coast ferry services - the Clyde and Hebrides Ferry Services contract.

Location: Glasgow
£10 per hour, 40 hours per week
Immediate start until August 2015

The Serco Clyde and Hebrides Ferry bid team is looking for a driven and detail-oriented intern to join them. The creation of the bid document has already commenced – and is due for submission in August 2015.

In this role you will:
• Analyse existing business intelligence to inform the bid proposal
• Carry out detailed research of financial information
• Interpret data and make recommendations to the bid team


Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a background in business research or data analysis/mining. Candidates with a background in accountancy/financial analysis will also be highly regarded. You need to be comfortable with working independently, with minimum supervision. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work to tight deadlines, great attention to detail, and have excellent IT skills (Candidates who have experience of using Sharepoint and Dropbox will be well-regarded, as it is used to manage the team’s documents)

You will be based in the office in Glasgow, and must sign an Non Disclosure Agreement, due to the confidential nature of working on the bid team.
