About the Company
Love from Indie Street is an award winning start up, passionate about supporting and promoting independent businesses across Scotland through their growing range of maps and guides, their pop-up markets and their 'Women in Small Business Surgeries' and coaching programme.
Your key task will be to launch a new range of shopping guides aimed at promoting small independent businesses. This will include:
• Devising a business development strategy (e.g. target customers, communication method)
• Creating a range of communications
• Delivering the communication strategy
• Signing up the advertising businesses
• Creating the new guides
• Being involved in the design process, production and distribution
This is a ‘cradle to grave’ project which will result in a physical product that the intern can then take on to talk about as part of their CV.
Please, have in mind that this will be a remote role with two one to one meetings per week and contact via email and phone the rest of the time.
The ideal graduate will have to be confident and engaging with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (email, telephone and face to face). You must also be a self starter with tenacity and organisational skills.
It is also important that you are comfortable working from home, able to prioritise and plan your own work load. An interest in our mission and goals will also be advantageous.
You will need your own computer/internet access, and phone.
