£7.65 per hour, part time for 3 months.

Working as a Business Development Intern the successful candidate will:
- Review Luminous’ current business plan and day-to-day organisation to identify strengths, weaknesses and solutions
- Develop a new strategy to grow the business so Luminous can grow and employ new staff
- Identify potential markets and help Luminous develop a clear strategy to engage them
- Recommend key performance indicators and evaluate the effect of all things implemented
- Review customer experience from initial awareness to client retention
- Review and improve Luminous’ social media strategy
The ideal candidate will be professional, ambitious and hard working with a background in business or marketing plus an interest in the creative sector. Friendly and articulate you will have excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to write professional reports. Experience of developing business plans plus an understanding of online marketing, especially social media campaigns will be essential.
You should have strong organisational skills and be able to prioritise your workload. You should have strong IT skills, including MS Office applications. Candidates should have a flexible approach to work and be motivated to work independently and as part of a small team.
Please note, although Luminous is a design company, this internship is not an opportunity for a design graduate to gain experience as a designer.
