The UK Distribution Group of Rémy-Cointreau is now looking to appoint a graduate intern for 6 months. Within this role your main tasks will include:
• Order processing on SAP
• Confirming orders to customers by email
• Phoning customer delivery depots to arrange delivery slots
• Answering customer queries by phone and email
• Processing and investigating logistics claims from customers (shortages, damages etc)
• Dealing with other ad hoc queries relating to the role
There may also be the opportunity to support the annual price increase project (Jan-Feb) which involves a very high volume of data and a lot of reporting/manipulating of data on excel – a candidate with an extremely high attention to detail, analytical skills and excel skills would suit this opportunity.
The ideal candidate can be from a number of academic backgrounds, but may be of particular interest to those who have studied Supply Chain Management. You will be positive, upbeat and pro-active. A driven and motivated individual, you will follow instruction and processes well and be keen to learn.
You must have very strong communication skills, both written and verbal, alongside a very high attention to detail. You will be happy to work as part of a small team of three people in same office space, and equally content in a fast paced environment – as at peak trading, orders and queries can be very high volume. Microsoft Excel skills would be a strong advantage.
