About the Company
McKnight Financial is a Glasgow based Independent Financial Adviser firm that offers all clients a "Private Client" service. Formed in 2009 McKnight Financial has now grown to a team of five, working from their head office in Central Glasgow.


Our clients benefit from a close working relationship with their Financial Adviser that develops longevity and trust enabling clients to have confidence that their longer term planning is being looked after by someone that knows them well and understands their specific requirements.


The Role
The purpose of the role is to help drive the business forward digitally. McKnight Financial are planning a new business project and the successful individual will be key in developing and driving the new brand identity, as well as managing the existing brand. 

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Creating and executing a Marketing Plan 
• Managing Social Media and producing website copy 
• Maintaining a cohesive, consistent and positive brand image 
• Designing graphics and logos 
• Researching and identifying business opportunities 
• Being proactive in generating ideas and taking these forward 
• Any other tasks as required in the daily operations of the business 

*Opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate. 


Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a marketing, branding, business degree or have experience in a similar background. You should have strong organisational skills and be able to prioritise your workload. The successful candidate will have great written and verbal communications as well as an eye for detail.

You should have excellent IT skills, including MS Office, a range of social media applications and good working knowledge of design programs (eg Adobe, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop). Those with an understanding of SEO is highly desirable. Candidates should have a flexible approach to work and be motivated to work independently and willing to contribute ideas.
