As the only multidisciplinary Royal College in the UK we have been supporting and representing our members for over 400 years by setting the highest possible standards of health care. 
 
Our membership has grown to over 10,000 physicians, surgeons, dental professionals, specialists in the field of travel medicine and podiatric medicine across the UK and worldwide. We provide ongoing career support to our membership by providing wide ranging, high quality, relevant education, training, professional development, education and assessment. 
 
The College is one of Glasgow's historic sites and, as a charitable organisation, we make a positive contribution to the wider community. The College was recently awarded Museum Accreditation for its extensive historical collections. 
 
The Role 
The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow are looking for a keen Digitisation Project Intern.  
 
The main role of the successful applicant will be to digitise / photograph our medical instrument museum collection, making it more accessible online. 
 
Requirements 
Target graduate group could be varied across Creative Industries, History, Humanities, or Museum Studies. 
 
Skills required: 
• Knowledge and experience of digital photography 
• Knowledge and experience of image editing 
• Ability to create basic digital content for web and social media 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills 
• Good research skills
