The Association of Scottish Businesswomen (ASB) was founded in 1995 as the umbrella organisation for a number of business and professional women's clubs throughout Scotland.
£7.85 per hour. Part-time; ideally 12 hours per week over 20 weeks but this can negotiated with the successful candidate.
The ASB aims to use it’s unique national position to become the voice of all women in business across Scotland and inspire, link and support those women to increase and strengthen their opportunities.
Working alongside the existing team, the successful intern will be involved in event management and marketing of both ASB events and the wider Association. With upcoming events including the Women in Enterprise & Business Conference in May, the annual ASB National Awards Dinner in Autumn, and the AGM in November this will be a fascinating and hands-on experience for a keen graduate.
This role would be perfect for a graduate with a background in event management, marketing, communications and/or business management, who is looking to gain additional experience in an exciting organisation.
You will be a confident communicator with excellent written and oral communication skills. Highly organised, you will possess a strong attention to detail, be able to effectively time manage and prioritise when working on multiple projects at once. Previous experience of managing events would be beneficial. You will excel in a team environment while also be happy to work on your own. You should have good all round office and IT skills for this role.
