This award is open to all Adopt an Intern interns (past and present) and recognises their exceptional performance and contribution to their host organisation.
This award recognises the outstanding contributions of an intern to their host organisation.
We encourage employers to nominate their interns as well as self-nominations from interns (with a supporting statement from the employer).
• The internship journey
• The intern’s impact on the business (eg: sales reach, improving processes, bringing in new customers, conducting research, increasing productivity, improving brand awareness, providing successful new approaches and ideas)
• Evidence of how the intern went above and beyond the role requirements/exceeded expectations
Who can enter?
This award is open to Adopt an Intern interns.
Entry is free. This award is made to an individual, rather than to an organisation.
How do I nominate my intern?
Employers are welcome to nominate an intern they hosted (you may submit more than one entry if you wish to nominate more than one intern). You can do so by completing the submission document (available for download here) and submitting it via the 'apply' button at the bottom of this page.
How do I nominate myself?
If you are/were an intern and you would like to nominate yourself, you can do so by completing the submission document (available for download here) and submitting it via the 'apply' button at the bottom of this page. You must include a supporting comment from your host organisation.
The word counts are simply a guideline, but please ensure that your entries are as concise as possible by using bullet points if necessary. Please ensure that all sections are completed. We will be unable to judge entries that are not complete.
If you require support with completing your application please do not hesitate to get in touch.
How will the entries be judged?
All entries will be viewed by a panel of judges made up of award sponsors and Adopt an Intern.
When do I need to submit by?
Closing date for entries has been extended until midnight on Monday 23 March, 2015.
Entries will be judged by our sponsors and all nominated candidates will be notified by 1st April 2015. Please note: finalists are required to attend the 5 Year Celebration and Awards Reception on Thursday 30th April 2015, in Edinburgh.
The deadline for applications has now passed. We are no longer accepting applications for our 2015 Awards.
