White Rabbit Skincare is a luxury, eco-friendly and award-winning skincare company, which addresses the need for high performance but naturally based skincare products.

Based in Ayrshire, our range of products are 100% vegan, cruelty-free certified by PETA and always carefully made by hand at our unit in Kilmarnock.

Currently stocked online and in a number of independent retailers, we are also working with a distributor to introduce our range to larger retailers, both in the UK and internationally, and are now seeking the right person to help develop our premium brand image.

The Role

This post will be fully involved in the strategy, tactical and day-to-day work of the company, and include the following roles and responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain our social media presence which includes day-to-day marketing, social media updates, website updates and activities
• Sales administration and management – includes maintaining customer relationships
• Organising and overseeing market research and social media strategies
• Helping to drive online traffic with web-related campaigns
• Coming up with marketing strategies and communication campaigns
• Building relationships with the social media community (including influencers)
• Building a reporting system for all our activity

Following this internship, there is potential for a contract extension for the right candidate, as the intern would essentially be creating their own role within the company.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should be educated to degree level: a marketing or business management degree (or relevant work experience) is desirable, but not necessary. You will be a self-starter capable of operating independently and pro-actively. You should be familiar with, and a user of social media, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. You will be able to use your own initiative for marketing, digital marketing and business development ideas. The ideal candidate will be self-motivating, a problem solver, with a responsive attitude and a desire to deliver an exceptional level of support.

Experience using Microsoft Office is essential. Having a good eye for what makes interesting content is essential. A good sense of what interests consumers and shoppers and an interest in the skincare/cosmetics industry is highly desirable.

This exclusive 4-month internship is an excellent opportunity to gain invaluable practical experience in brand development, marketing strategies, and client account management. Within this role you will develop and utilise business development skills, and have the opportunity to expand your professional network, whilst empowering a dynamic and innovative young company.
