The Bike Big Revival Scotland is a community based social marketing programme, focused on supporting a range of local community groups to engage with a wider audience though enhanced delivery of services.

Cycling UK wish to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated graduate to join their team as a Marketing Assistant on The Big Bike Revival project.
As the successful applicant, reporting to the Project Manager, your main tasks will include:
• Producing marketing collateral from provided content
• Assisting in the maintenance of the project website
• Assisting in the maintenance and development of the project presence on social media (twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook)
• Assisting with management and delivery of marketing campaigns
• Supporting promotional activity through the production of creative content
• Providing marketing support through the distribution of surveys to collect stakeholder feedback
• Assisting in the collation and analysis of data relevant to the project
• Performing administrative tasks necessary to the smooth delivery of the project
• Attending events as necessary.
*There is the possibility of extension for the right candidate if circumstances allow.
You should be able to start work immediately.
The ideal candidate will be a creative and enthusiastic graduate, skilled in Marketing and Communications with strong writing, social media and analytical skills.
Attention to detail is key, as administrative tasks crucial to the success of the project are part of the responsibilities of the post.
You should be self-starting and organised, able to take initiative and to work to strict deadlines. Being professional, discrete and resilient are necessary traits as you will be working remotely for a significant proportion of the time. Face to face meetings will be held regularly, so the ability to report on your workload, achievements and areas where guidance/assistance may be needed is also important.
You don't have to be a cyclist, but an awareness of the benefits of cycling to individuals and communities, as well as knowledge of policy around these issues will be advantageous.
You will require access to your own computer, phone, and to the internet.
