Marketing Intern with Solve HR

Solve HR is a personal, but professional HR and Employment Law consultancy that provides value added HR Advice and Recruitment Outsourcing from their offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Location: South Gyle, Edinburgh with potential for home-working.
£6.50 per hour. Part-time (one or two days per week depending on business need) for 6 months.
Immediate start

Solve are now looking to recruit an Intern on a part-time basis to help with their company marketing. Your main tasks in this role will include:

• Planning and compiling a monthly newsletter
• Updating the company website
• Using social media to market the brand
• Helping with project work
• Creating and sending email campaigns
• Compiling employee survey results
• Ad hoc admin as per the needs of the business

This is a great role to put your knowledge into practice and gain experience in a comprehensive and varied marketing role.

Requirements

The ideal intern will be educated to degree level with a background in marketing, social media, IT or business. Candidates should have a strong knowledge of social media and how it can be utilised for business to engage followers and expand the brand. You should be competent across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

You will be familiar with updating website and be comfortable working on Wordpress-based websites. A good understanding of basic html coding is desirable.

Understanding of employment law/business would be highly beneficial. You should be enthusiastic with the ability to work well as part of a team but also on your own, using your own initiative. You should be comfortable working unsupervised, remain organised and be able to meet deadlines.
