Project Administrator and Compliance Intern with Adopt an Intern

Adopt an Intern specialises in the facilitation of paid internships for unemployed and underemployed graduates. We work with employers from all sectors across Scotland and beyond, advertising and shortlisting cross-sector paid internship opportunities

Location: Home-based with meetings in Glasgow
£7.85 per hour full-time (35 hours per week). Fixed term contract 31 July 2015.
Immediate start.

 

Adopt an Intern has recently securing additional funding from the European Regional Development Team and as such is looking to take on a graduate to help with the administration associated with the project’s funding.

Your main duties in this role will be:

• Working with the AAI CEO, Finance Officer and Internship Manager to ensure our administrative systems meet the needs of all stakeholders
• Liaison with current employers and interns via telephone and email
• Ensuring compliance with funders requirements
• Analysing data and producing reports
• Other administrative duties as required

Requirements

This internship would be suited to a graduate interested in business management, finance and/or accounts. You should be friendly and assertive with strong communication skills (written and verbal). A great team ethic and a passion for continuous improvement are essential. This role will require strong organisational skills, including the ability to plan effectively to meet project timescales and deliver upon fixed deadlines.

You should have excellent time management skills and be able to manage your time to optimise productivity and ensure deadlines are met. Previous administration experience would be beneficial. A strong attention to detail is an absolute must for this role. 
You must be happy to work from home on your own, as well as with other members of the team at regular face-to-face meet-ups. Ideally you will have access to your own phone and computer, with internet access.
