Alexander Project Management are looking to hire a Project Assistant to assist with various managerial tasks relating to their current projects.

In this role you will:

•Work on accurate and appropriate programming of projects
•Monitor and report on progress for select projects
•Deal with queries from contractors and clients as they come in
•Liaise with design teams on projects
•Monitor that projects follow current Construction Design and Management regulations
•Provide general support on administrative tasks that need completing


Requirements

This role is ideal for an applicant with a project management, administration, or engineering background and/or qualification. You should be interested in various aspects of project management.

The following skills are desirable, though not essential:

•Some interest in the construction industry
•Knowledge or willingness to learn about current Construction Design and Management regulations and to work to those standards
•Ability to work in a team
•A friendly and professional manner in all communication. You should be able to communicate confidently with different parties relating to projects
•Initiative and the ability to work on your own is important
•Willingness to take ownership of your work and ensure it is produced to a high standard
•A working knowledge of standard office software packages
•The ability to problem solve
