Research Intern with NVT Group

NVT Group provides flexible ICT managed services, offering a professional, innovative and independent service. 

Location: Bellshill, North Lanarkshire
£7.85 per hour. Full-time for 3 months
Ideal start of 1 March 2015

As a Research Intern for NVT, your main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Research, analysis and presentation of the dynamics found within the UK and Scottish ICT sector and its relationship with private and public sectors clients.
• Evaluation and comparison across business sectors with regards to how ICT services are consumed as well as the value of investment and supplier engagement models preferred across each client sector.

The successful intern will be required to identify accurate sources of information on which to base analysis and subsequently identify and communicate directly with both private and public sector groups.


Requirements

This post would be of interest to graduates who possess strong research, communication and analysis skills, report writing skills and an ability to work to a brief unsupervised. The ideal candidate would have an interest in the Scottish economy, particularly public sector procurement, the growth and development of the ICT industry in Scotland, the growth of SME’s in the technology sector towards internationalisation, the shape of tomorrows technology services.

Candidates require strong communication, analysis and data gathering skills. You should be confident speaking to and dealing with a diverse client group across public and private sectors.

Awareness and interest in Public and or Private sector procurement behaviour and its relationship to building wealthy and sustainable economies would be beneficial. An awareness and interest in the ICT sector would also be beneficial.
