Adopt an Intern were contracted to provide recruitment services for Scottish Enterprise for their Undergraduate Work Experience Programme. We recruited from the next generation of individuals who want to make a real difference to Scotland's future prosperity.

The Scottish Enterprise Undergraduate Programme is aimed at current university students, ideally those on the way to completing their third year, as a great way to gain valuable work experience, and get paid at the same time. Offering an annual salary of £16,000 pro rata for up to 13 weeks work (throughout the year), this is a great opportunity to gain an insight and contribute to the work of Scottish Enterprise.

Scottish Enterprise are currently increasing their focus on how they can deliver more to their customers digitally, and improve the overall delivery of their services. As part of this SE are developing new ways of working and bringing new skills into the organisation. Undergraduates have an opportunity to join this exciting and transformative programme of work. To support this, for the latest programme, Scottish Enterprise have a particular interest in attracting current computing science and related subjects, for instance software development, students from across Scotland's universities.

Successful participation in the SE Undergraduate Programme may lead to future opportunities, such as being invited to join the SE graduate programme in 2017, which make this much more than 'just a bit of work experience'..
