Healthy Nibbles is a new concept in vending; dedicated to health and wellness, supplying fully serviced and maintained SMARTvending machines stocked only with healthy nutritionally certified, sustainable products containing no nasties - delivering SMARTeating.

£7.85 per hour. Part-time, 20 hours per week for 12 weeks
Healthy Nibbles have an experienced management team with ambitious future plans, great industry connections and superb clients, including BBC Scotland. They also supply MyHealthyNibbles snack boxes which are delivered direct to home or office.
The Social Media Intern will play an active role in the development of Healthy Nibbles online community. The intern will maintain Healthy Nibbles presence across various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & Pinterest), whilst helping to create and publish content that is relevant to our consumer profile.
He / She will regularly analyse and report on the activity across the platforms while also assist in maintaining Healthy Nibbles’ archive of images, video and other content. The intern will learn how to reach communities and promote events or products / services through the internet, gaining experience in social media platforms and the tools used to manage their performance.
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Update Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram accounts
• Respond to posts or comments to bring value to the Healthy Nibbles consumer
• Post updates, news and announcements in a timely manner
• Perform research to find articles, stories and other content that is relevant to our customer base and post it in a way that encourage conversation and discussion
• Grow Healthy Nibbles social networks by increasing fan base and interactions
• Take pictures and video to be developed into appropriate content
• Upload videos and images to the appropriate Dropbox account
• Organise and archive digital media images and video
• Regularly observe the online activity of model businesses
• Research and report on social media best practises
• Complete other research as required
Analytics & Reporting
• Use Google Analytics to assess trends and activity on the Healthy Nibbles website
• Use Facebook and Twitter analytics to gain insight and assess trends on the respective social media pages
• Review data on the performance of social media platforms and adjust plans and strategy to optimise reach
The ideal intern will be a creative self-starter who is comfortable with both taking initiative and working in collaboration. You will be detail orientated with strong written and verbal communication skills. A background in marketing and social media management is highly desired.
A graduate with a background in Marketing, Entrepreneurship, English, Psychology, Marketing, or Media and Communications would be a strong fit. A good knowledge of, and passion for, the health and nutrition industry would be beneficial. You should be confident when using a range of social media platforms to carry out brand communication, digital community development, customer service, and audience development. You should be happy working as part of a very small team, and comfortable working on your own at times.
