About the Company
PCL Presents is based in Glasgow, organising events and concerts in most venues across Scotland.
PCL Presents are looking for an enthusiastic Booking Assistant to join their team. This will be a chance for you to gain experience from an experienced team that has been actively engaged in the Scottish music scene for 30 years. Reporting to the Director, your main tasks will be:
• Communicating with venues
• Collecting artists’ press information for marketing
• Booking advertising spaces
• Helping budget campaigns
• Looking for new artists with whom PCL Presents could potentially work
Please note that although your role will be located in our offices in Glasgow, you will occasionally be required to work in venues.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the local music scene. They should also be comfortable using and managing Social Media channels, able to prioritise, commit to deadlines and take the initiative.
You should be comfortable in a small team environment where all are required to contribute to a variety of tasks necessary for the smooth running of the company.
You should also be proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Adobe Photoshop and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
