£8.45 per hour

The Drama Box provides face to face and online training courses to primary teachers across Scotland. The company is passionate about inspiring self-belief in primary pupils through transformative drama with a firm focus on creativity.

The company has worked with schools, authorities and organisations all over Scotland and the North East of England including Education Scotland, The Scottish Book Trust, The Scottish Commissioner for Children and Young People and Youth Theatre Arts Scotland.

The Role

The Drama Box is currently looking for a Bookings and Marketing Manager, who will be responsible for the following:

• Managing bookings
• Maintaining client relationships
• Creating new avenues of business
• Managing social media marketing content (Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter)
• Growing and managing mailing lists



The ideal candidate will be a highly-motivated self-starter with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You will have a passion for marketing and proven customer service experience. You will be the driving force behind The Drama Box, generating brand awareness and business development. They are looking for confident individuals who are focused and able to work to strict deadlines and targets.

Experience and an interest in the education sector is highly desirable.

This exclusive 4-month internship is an excellent opportunity to gain invaluable practical experience in marketing and client account management. Within this role you will develop and utilise business development skills, and have the opportunity to expand your professional network, whilst empowering a dynamic and innovative young company. Within this role, there is potential for extension, as the right candidate would essentially create their own permanent job.
