As a Corporate Finance Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to engage in truly stimulating, rich and intellectually challenging work whilst being supported by a team of professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to develop in a corporate setting and to interact with people of different backgrounds.
Main responsibilities of the role include:
• Assisting in corporate client due diligence
• Processing and preparing financial and business forms
• Formulating compliant offering documentation
• Performing routine calculations to produce analyses and reports as requested
• Answering questions and providing assistance to stakeholders, customers and clients as needed
• Suggesting changes or improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency where appropriate.
There is tremendous potential for professional progression in this role, and a contract extension is possible for the right candidate upon review.
This role would suit candidates with a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics or a related field. However, the ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative and self-motivation regardless of their academic discipline, so applications from all backgrounds are welcomed.
You should have excellent mathematical, written and verbal communication skills, as well as great attention to detail. A willingness and flexibility to learn, and strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essentials for the role. You should also be able to demonstrate good IT skills, particularly with Excel spreadsheets.
As this is a heavily regulated industry, the team at City One Securities are cautious and diligent with their work, keeping in mind that they have a duty of care toward themselves and their clients.
