About the role
One of the major building blocks of the work done by FULL is engaging copy. It is essential in delivering messages the world over, powering connections between people, grabbing their attention and holding it while you discuss the merits of flexible working and introduce the value of FULL’s solutions.
Their customers are based across the world and work in a variety of industries; communicating FULL’s mission and value proposition in an engaging and informative manner is crucial.
FULL is committed to developing talent and as such is embarking on the roll-out of their own internship programme in Edinburgh to work with ambitious and talented graduates at the beginning of their career in producing the best written content.
This is a work from home job, with one day a week to be spent in FULL’s central Edinburgh office. You should be comfortable working independently but equally comfortable reaching out to ask for help, support others, and participate within a global team.
Within this role your main duties and responsibilities will be:
•Producing written copy on a variety of subjects for use by FULL and third-parties
•Supporting the team through creative collaboration on developing written work
•Diving into technology from an end user's perspective; what makes great software?
•Willingness to learn advanced SEO strategies and apply to your own daily work
•Ultimately, through your writing, you will be helping customers understand how they can solve their business problems with FULL’s solutions
As this is an internship programme that is genuinely interested in your development and growth both as a writer and a team player in a distributed team, there will be plenty of emphasis placed on generating creative ideas between you, your fellow interns and the wider product and marketing teams at FULL.
The ideal graduate will have a background in a media/PR/communications related degree subject, but the major focus on writing means you could come from any degree discipline as long as you can demonstrate a high competency in the written communication of ideas.
An interest and awareness of trends in digital marketing, technology, and software development is crucial.
The ability to produce engaging and accurate work to a series of tight deadlines is essential, as is the aptitude to seek out, analyse, and summarise information in a variety of disciplines. You should be able to demonstrate a passion for the written word in all its forms; articles, posts, ad copy, etc.

As for much of time you will be working remotely, you will be happy and confident about reaching out to others and sharing ideas in a team and for those ideas to be collaboratively critiqued so that only the best are taken forward.
