Based in Glasgow, The Go To Agency is a subsidiary company of On Track Advertising and provides specialist social media services to businesses from Falkirk to Florida.
£7.65 per hour. 24 hours per week (over 4/5 days) for 10 weeks.
Ideal start date: Monday 6 October
(Please note that you will be invoicing Adopt an Intern as a freelance/consultant. This is a very simple, uncomplicated process. You will also be advised to register as self-employed with HMRC if you are not already registered.)
The Go To Agency work with large number of clients managing their social media reputation online – effectively ‘speaking their language’.
The successful candidate will get the opportunity to manage day-to-day engagement for a variety of clients (across various industries) over a number of platforms. Your main tasks will be, but are not restricted to:
- Executing agreed social media campaigns
- Working with the existing team to develop authentic ideas
- Designing and creating monthly email campaigns
- Carrying out research
Whilst the initial internship is for 10 weeks a desirable outcome would be for the successful candidate to stay on with the business and in to 2015 in an employed role.
You should be educated to degree level ideally with a background or interest in marketing, social media or journalism. You should be a creative thinker who can engage the audience through written content. This role requires a great team player.
Every day will be different and the learning curve will be steep so the perfect candidate will have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, have great attention to detail and know how to make themselves indispensible. Candidates who take ownership for their work, not waiting to be told what to do but rather will get stuck in to what needs done, will be highly regarded.
