We’ve helped over 900 companies grow with diverse graduate and returner talent.

Our team is not driven by sales, and we don’t work on commission.

If we're talking to you it's because we understand that there’s a need in your organisation, and we want to help.

From ad hoc, short-term projects and covering maternity leave, to permanent positions and graduate programmes, we’ve worked with everyone from government to glass-blowers, and we know the right hire at the right time is what makes a team thrive.

We've traditionally specialised in graduate-level opportunities, but due to demand, we have widened our scope to include graduates, post-graduates and returners of all ages, backgrounds and experience levels.

Large businesses especially love our diverse audience and transparent process.

SMEs, third sector organisations and startups love our efficiency, depth of promotion and how much time we save them.

Interns work.

But don't take our word for it. Find out why we’re loved by employers.

GRADUATE INTERNS

47% of recent university graduates are underemployed.

They are working in jobs for which they are overqualified. They have gained their degree, are highly skilled and qualified, but need the opportunity to put those skills into practice.  They can't get a job without experience, but they can't get experience without a job.

The latest statistics for the UK show that 3.1% of graduates and 2.3% of postgraduates are unemployed, with these percentages even higher for women, people from different ethnic groups, and people identifying as having a disability. At AAI we advocate transparent and fair recruitment procedures and we actively support equal opportunities with the aim of real social change.

That's where paid graduate internships come in.

Graduate Interns will join you to complete a specific, time-limited project.  There is no commitment to giving your intern a permanent job after their internship - 74% of graduate interns will go directly into permanent work by virtue of gaining the experience they need to become more employable.

For those looking to recruit graduates to a permanent vacancy or a development programme, AAI will do all of the candidate attraction and prequalification.

We set up the first ever paid graduate internship programme for Scottish Government - we now recruit for Abellio, Diageo, Scottish Enterprise and the Scottish Council on Archives.

Broaden your talent pool.

Over 58% of our applicants are female, and 38% are the first person in their family to go to university. We have a deep reach to graduates, post-graduates and returners. Since 2010 we have built a fair and transparent model which enables open access to opportunities for all.
