Event Assistant with Skidaddle


Location:  Callander, Stirlingshire  

£8.25 per hour  
Part-time, 240 hours over 12 weeks.

Skidaddle is a not for profit social enterprise running outdoor sporting events with social and economic benefits for local and national communities.

The Role 
As an Event Assistant with Skidaddle, your main responsibilities will include: 
• Event Management   
• Volunteer Recruitment  
• Administration  
• Event Planning and Preparation  
• Networking   
• Reporting  
• Marketing  
• Social Media, website and database updating 
Skidaddle is looking to recruit an Event Assistant to join our dynamic team, ideally with a background in Sports, Adventure Tourism Management, Event Management or Marketing.  
The successful candidate will be a quick learner with great organisational and interpersonal skills and will be hard working and enthusiastic. Skidaddle work is incredibly varied and we are looking for somebody who will work effectively in an office environment as well as in a range of outdoor situations.  
The candidate will be competent with the use of Microsoft programmes and social media and will ideally have experience of database and website management.
