The Fx Group is a family of organisations including FutureX, WeAreTheFuture and the Mettā Network. They work to harness the power of entrepreneurs to tackle some of the world's greatest challenges. They host international summits and retreats that bring together visionaries, movers, shakers, trendsetters, entrepreneurs, and educators, with the aim of creating a better world through business.
From high profile conferences attended by 1000 delegates, through to bespoke, immersive retreats and programmes for groups of less than 10, their events vary markedly in terms of scale, style, and tone. They all, however, share customary attention to detail and personal touch that sets them apart.
You will provide assistance to the Fx team as they begin their busy 2018 programme of events. Whilst you will sit on the events team, you will also provide assistance on a variety of other tasks including, but not limited to: social media, marketing, design, administration, website maintenance, business development and sales.
• Event research and design
• Venue, exhibitor, speaker, contractor and volunteer outreach
• Venue, exhibitor, speaker, contractor and volunteer management
• Post and pre-event reports
• On the day event logistics
• Assisting with marketing strategy and delivery
• Social media
• Maintaining mailing lists and blogs
While it is crucial for applicants to have events experience, it is not imperative to have experience in all of the other areas listed above, as on-the-job training will be provided. It is far more important to them that you have a desire to learn new skills, a positive, friendly attitude and an ambition to run great events that contribute towards building a better world through business.
Fx Group dream candidate is smart, confident, proactive and passionate about events. The ideal candidate also has an events, marketing, or relevant business degree, or experience in a similar background. You must have good IT and administrative skills, be confident and personable when dealing with people and have excellent oral and written communication skills. You must be well organised and able to manage the workload of multiple projects. The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to stay calm under pressure.
You should demonstrate that you have experience in events.
The following skills are desirable, though not essential:

• Design (graphic / web)
