Ross and Liddell wish to recruit two graduate interns to join their Glasgow team. The successful candidates will be working with various departments such as finance, credit control and new business. As the end of October is a very busy period for processing invoices, the intern is initially expected to assist in handling the bulk of card payments.
• Ensuring invoices are issued and payments are reconciled on a timely basis.
• General office duties as required: monitoring the office mail service, liaising with other departments, controlling routine financial activities
• Keeping client and project records up to date and accurate through interactions with the team and clients.
• Answering customer queries – telephone and web contact.
• Supporting business engagement to achieve additional sales targets to existing clients
Ideal candidates will be educated to degree level, and can come from a range of subject areas, however, finance graduates will be specially considered. It is essential that you have good communications skills, both written and verbal. You will be able to manage your time to optimise productivity and plan effectively. You should be able to demonstrate a strong attention to detail whilst managing multiple tasks.
You will be responsive and communicate professionally to customers, promoting the organisation in a positive way at all times. You will be a confident team player, friendly and assertive.
Experience within a consumer-focused organisation would be beneficial, though not essential. Any experience of working within an administration-based role would be advantageous.
