Graphic Designer / Creative Artworker Intern with PEEK (Possibilities for Each and Every Kid)

PEEK works with children and young people aged 5-25 living in the East End of Glasgow and North of Glasgow – giving them the motivation, self-confidence and skills they need to change their lives. In a typical week, they provide high quality, diverse & innovative arts, leisure and free play activities for over 450 children and 70 young people.

Location: Glasgow
£7.85 per hour. Part-time, 20 hours per week for 12 weeks
April 2015 start

PEEK are looking for a Graphic Designer / Creative Artworker Intern with good visual and design skills join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to stamp your creativity on an award-winning charity, where your designs and work will be very much in the public eye.

The successful applicant will be responsible for design work / artwork for the website, social media channels, and other branded marketing materials.


PEEK are looking for someone who is confident in their creative abilities who has the capacity to work on their own and as part of a team. This internship will be demanding so it is essential that the successful intern has the ability to work professionally under pressure at a fast pace.

You should have a background in creative or graphics design / artwork with a great portfolio and key skills that cover the following:
• Excellent Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign skills
• Excellent layout skills and experience with print design
• Experience or education in Graphic Design related field
