HR Intern with Stirling Council

As one of the local authorities at the heart of Scotland, Stirling Council is looking to recruit two graduate interns to implement its ‘Supporting Attendance’ Policy.

Location: Stirling
£7.85 per hour. Full-time (with potential for part-time hours). Initially for 6 months, possible extension to 1 year. 
February 2015 start. 

Working within the HR department of Stirling Council, the two successful interns be responsible for:

• Arranging attendance management meetings
• Preparing letters and documents
• Supporting line managers and employees at meetings
• Arranging referrals to Occupational Health
• Undertaking other HR related project work.
• Any other tasks that are required to be completed


The successful interns will be educated to degree level with a background in Human Resource Management or Business Management or a medical-related subject.

It is essential that you are organised and able to work to deadlines, are proactive and able to use your initiative. You will be professional and discrete in dealing with confidential and sometimes sensitive/personal information. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Ideally you will have a driving licence, although this is not essential.
