Little’s are now looking for a graduate intern to join their team as a Project Lead to assist their Sales and Marketing department. Sales support activities will include research of new business and clients and supporting the Business Development Manager in completing project work as required. You will also lead on digital marketing including blog writing, social media management, website content creation etc. bringing ideas and creativity to the company.
Within this role your main tasks will be to:
• Complete research on possible new business opportunities e.g. corporate clients, events, new hotel openings etc.
• Create new business proposals
• Content creation, blogging and website management (liaising with a digital agency)
• Manage social media accounts
As part of a team of ten, there are many areas of responsibility which are shared and there is huge scope to learn valuable skills from all areas of the business. Both the Managing Director and Business Development Manager are very hands-on and will assist in offering support.
This role is ideally suited to an Intern interested in career in business development / marketing.This is a great opportunity for a business minded individual to gain a better understanding of a travel/ tourism industry lead organisation and bring new digital marketing ideas to the sales & marketing team.
This role is very varied and requires creative spark. The ideal intern will have background and interest in pursuing a career in hospitality, events or international business.You will be IT literate with excellent literacy and numeracy skills and a keen interest in social networking and digital activities. You may have some graphic design capabilities to support your digital skills. You will have excellent organisational skills, be able to prioritise your own tasks and possess the ability to work effectively under pressure. You will be a confident communicator, a team player and be able to use your own initiative. You will have strong written communication skills and a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in a digital marketing role would be advantageous.
