£7.85 per hour. Part-time, 20 hours per week for 12 weeks
MacGregor and MacDuff has been selling and hiring kilt outfits since 1979. After originally focusing on the local market, the most recent growth in the business has been seen online, sending kilts all over the world, especially to markets in Australia and America.
However, this particular internship focusses on the local market again, preparing for the launch of a new retail space from within the head office and manufacturing warehouse.
As a Marketing Assistant, the successful intern will be responsible for the creation and implementation of a marketing plan/strategy to gain customers. The intern will also help with the design and development of the new retail space. This is a fantastic opportunity to get solid business experience of taking a retail plan on paper through to concept, build and launch. With years of knowledge at hand and a young, ambitious management team to learn from, this opportunity is a great chance to experience business as it really is.
MacGregor and MacDuff are looking for a creative graduate with a background in marketing and/or business who posses a strong, progressive ‘can do’ attitude. You will have the ability to work in a team and take instruction but also challenge a team with your own ideas and educated suggestions. You will have strong communication skills, both written and oral, a high attention to detail and a desire to give your best.
Closing date for applications is 1 February 2015, 5pm.
