The Role

Lettingweb is looking for a bright and motivated Marketing Assistant to join their team based in Edinburgh. This is a great opportunity to have hands-on experience within a supportive and friendly Scottish-based team.

The successful candidate will be joining a small, agile team at an exciting point in the company's life cycle. They will be line managed by the Marketing and Product Manager.

Main tasks will include:

• Implementing social media and communication campaigns across all offline/online channels
• Developing engaging text, image and video content for all our stakeholders
• Basic image and video editing
• Assisting with user testing and feedback of new website features
• Supporting the organisation and management of quarterly events
• Assisting in the coordination of Marketing and Customer Service activities
• Carrying out other tasks reasonably requested by the Marketing and Product Manager or Directors


Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate. An interest or background in communications, marketing, event planning would be desirable, but not essential.

You should be able to demonstrate imagination, creativity and a high attention to detail. You will also be able to show a genuine interest in the digital world, online media and social media. You will be a fast learner, confident but down-to-earth, highly organised with a can-do attitude and the desire to exceed expectations.

You will be keen to learn and develop further skills throughout the course of the placement. You will have some experience of creating engaging content for different audiences and communications channels and an interest in social media and search engine marketing, including PR, SEO and PPC (pay-per-click).

You should also have experience of using Microsoft Office applications and basic use of some of Adobe's software suite. Some level of ability with video editing would be preferred.
