Ignition Financial is a finance and accounting firm for Start-Ups and Scale-Ups. Our mission is to help our clients Survive, Thrive, Scale-up, and Exit, collaborating with our clients as their venture Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Ignition Financial is currently looking for an innovative individual to join them as a Marketing Intern responsible for driving forward the social media presence of the company, communications with clients, and organising events for founders. Joining a motivated and supportive team environment, the successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of marketing activities affording an excellent opportunity to quickly expand their experience.
As Marketing Intern, reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will assist the team on a variety of projects.
These might include, but are not be limited to:
• Social media – growing from a very small base (Twitter and LinkedIn)
• Newsletters – leading the regular distribution, collating content, proof-reading and managing distribution lists
• E-marketing - to include the use of the database for client mailouts Video content – currently unexplored, but Ignition are particularly keen on this medium for communication
• Event organisation – venue, attendee communications, collation of feedback
• Evaluating marketing campaigns using tracking and analytical software and assessment of the results
• Being a named point of contact for external designers and marketing agencies
Helping to compile and design presentations
• Coming up with ideas to challenge the Ignition team on how they can do things better or differently!
*The successful candidate should be prepared to work from home but be ready to travel to the London office once or twice a week (especially in the early days). Travel will be reimbursed.
Ignition Financial is looking for a confident and proactive individual who is passionate about branding and events and keen to understand the world of the Start-Up Founder. You will have a marketing or relevant business degree, or have experience in a similar background.
You must have good IT and administrative skills, be confident and personable when dealing with people and have excellent oral and written communication skills. You will also have demonstrable abilities in the production of web-based content including video.
You will be able to respond to tasks and work confidently and efficiently. You must be organised, driven and ready to adapt. You will also have a cooperative work ethic, or a 'can-do' attitude, as there will be times when general administration and organisational tasks (ie, other work than marketing) will be required in support of the wider business.
