Marketing & Sales Executive with SpintopMEDIA

Location: Edinburgh 

£8.00 per hour 
Part-time for 12 weeks (with potential for extension)  
August 2016 start

About the Company 
SpintopMEDIA are social media wranglers offering up marketing wisdom for small businesses and savvy entrepreneurs. 
SpintopMEDIA's website is currently undergoing a make over to be all singing and dancing however, you can still have a wee nosey at some of their exciting past projects and clients!  

The Role 
Providing support as required in all aspects of marketing and sales activity. This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact in a small but dynamic team. As a Marketing & Sales Executive your main responsibilities will include: 
• Data entry and analysis 
• Helping with Social Media content strategy  
• Maintaining Social Media channels (Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter) 
• Driving sales strategy forward 
• Sourcing and attending relevant events to network  
• Researching on leads and competitor activity 
• Identifying prospects and contacting people directly 
• Maintaining relationships with clients by providing support, information and quality service. 
• Use of Trello and Slack  
• Any other tasks as required by the business 
The ideal candidate will have a background or experience in Sales, Marketing and PR and Social Media or a related field. Previous experience of web content management, email marketing, brand communication, digital community development, customer service and audience development is highly desirable. Experience with WordPress would be advantageous but training could also be provided. spintop MEDIA enjoys working with a diverse team and speaking with a range of clients so they would love to hear from someone who speaks more than one language! 

The confident individual should have excellent (written and verbal) communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritise and take initiative. spintop MEDIA is looking for a collaborative and supportive team member who is well organised and able to work to tight deadlines. You should be eager to put forward ideas and be self-independent. Staying resilient and enthusiastic is equally important!
