The Role

TaxAssist Accountants is looking to hire a Payroll Specialist to join their Technical Hub. The company runs various payrolls on behalf of their clients. These range from a single payslip for a company director for the same amount every month to businesses of 50+ employees with multiple wage rates.

The successful candidate will also deal with queries from employers covering a wide and diverse subject range - from Maternity Pay to Work Place Pensions. It is a busy role which is deadline driven. Necessary training and support will be provided.

The role will be full-time, but TaxAssist Accountants is open to discussing flexible working hours.


Requirements

This role would suit someone who is friendly and engaged with demonstrable knowledge of accountancy and/or experience working in a payroll department of an organisation.

You should also have the following skills:

• Organisational skills
• The ability to manage your time and workload effectively
• Proactive and enthusiastic
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience of working within in an accountancy practice or in a payroll department in a company
