To support the programme, we’re looking for a talented project coordinator with a flair for communication and the ability to drive results.
Working as a Project Coordinator Intern you will be involved in coordinating a cross functional project centred on continuous business improvement.
The successful intern will be coordinating project activity, managing the project plan, following up on and supporting delivery of agreed actions. They will work with colleagues and teams across the business to identify improvement opportunities.
The successful candidate can come from any number of degree disciplines. Although a background in business would be helpful, the right attitude and strong interpersonal skills are more important than specific technical expertise. The intern will be willing to learn, grow and develop existing and new skills.
The ability to work with pace and agility is essential, as the candidate will be coordinating multiple work streams. Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders are essential. Some knowledge / understanding of continuous improvement would be helpful. Experience of using MS Project would be highly advantageous.
Strong organisation skills are essential. The intern must be a strong team worker and be comfortable dealing with people at all different levels of the business as they will be expected to engage with colleagues from the factory floor to the MD. They must have excellent communication skills, be able to handle multiple and sometimes competing priorities, and lots of different characters and personalities.
