About the Company
Launched in 2017, Ecosse-EV are Scotland’s only all-electric ground transportation company to combine a first-class chauffeur service with the environmental benefit of zero-emissions travel. Although we are a newly established company, we have extensive experience in the corporate ground transportation industry and are looking to grow our profile.
Ecosse-EV provide corporate, roadshow, events, touring, airport transfer and bridal car services from our headquarters close to Edinburgh Airport. We operate a fleet of TESLA Model S Electric Vehicles (EV’s) which have rapidly become the ‘car of choice’ for style and environmentally conscious consumers. Combined with safety and range, TESLA vehicles are very much pioneers in the automotive world and, as such, revolutionising the future of ground transportation. In this role you will assist in the development of Ecosse-EV’s sales and digital marketing strategy. You will work closely with the COO as well as the wider team on these areas. The role is initially part-time, but, with the right intern, it has the potential to grow into a full-time role.
As Sales and Marketing Support Intern you will:
•Help establish a marketing benchmark which is robust, scalable and executable
•Work with the COO to create, manage, and implement marketing plans for targeted clients
•Develop a clear social media marketing strategy – which is aligned to the industry culture
•Develop Ecosse-EV’s approaches to online data, SEO, Social Media analytics, business analytics, and client targeting
•Create content to generate leads for pursuit
•Create and manage sales pipelines using appropriate CRM systems, including succinct reporting functions
The ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level in a Marketing related subject. However, graduates who have demonstrable knowledge or experience of marketing techniques should also apply. You should be an active user of social media, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. The ideal candidate will also be self-motivating, a problem solver, and with a responsive attitude.
You should be able to demonstrate that you possess the following:
•Knowledge of corporate services, potentially also of the transportation industry
•Knowledge of relevant marketing techniques, particularly digital marketing
•Knowledge, and possibly some experience, in various marketing streams and methods
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Confident interpersonal skills
•IT literacy with confident use of standard Office Software
•Familiarity with marketing related software, such as CRM software
•Attention to detail
•Ability to problem solve creatively
•Ability to work in a team environment
•Willingness to use initiative for marketing, digital marketing, and business development ideas
