The Role

Due to demand, Orbit Communications require a creative and motivated individual to join their team with the remit of producing engaging content for a variety of clients.

It is essential in delivering messages to a wide range of audiences through a variety of social media platforms, hat appropriate themes and tones are reflected in the content produced while maintaining a consistently premium standard of quality across a high rate of output.

Within this role your main duties and responsibilities will be:

• Producing copy and content on a variety of subjects for use by Orbit Communications and their clients
• Ensuring that all content created is informative and engaging and avoids plagiarism
• Supporting the team through creative collaboration on developing written work
• Working to quickly assimilate the culture of Orbit Communications to underpin your content creation
• Ensuring that this is being disseminated through appropriate social media platforms


Requirements

The role will suit ambitious and talented graduates at the beginning of their career in producing the best online content. The ideal graduate will have a background in a media / marketing / communications related degree subject, but the major focus on content creation means you could come from any degree discipline as long as you can demonstrate a high competency in the communication of ideas.

An interest and awareness of trends in digital marketing, technology, and software development and how these impact use of social media is crucial.

The ability to produce engaging and accurate work to a series of tight deadlines is essential, as is the aptitude to seek out, analyse, and summarise information in a variety of disciplines. You should be able to demonstrate a passion for the written word in all its forms; articles, posts, ad copy, etc.

You should be comfortable working independently but equally comfortable reaching out to ask for help, support others, and participate collaboratively within a motivated and passionate team.

You will be able to demonstrate:
• That you can produce original and engaging content, perhaps through a link to online work you have produced.
• That your written communication is of a high standard of accuracy
• That you are used to developing the ideas of others into usable content
• That you have an understanding of the importance and impact of branding
• That you have an understanding of social media platforms
• Ability to create and segment a target audience
• Ability to create sales funnels
