We are a family run business and the team consists of Karris, Scott, Casey (6), and Tyler (1) – as well as an awesome team of eight other visionaries who work in our office and warehouse environment. More information on our vision, values and products can be found on our website.
TheVeganKind is looking to hire a Web Master and Multi-Channel Manager. In this role, you will develop TheVeganKind’s website and online supermarket to enable efficient online operations and stock management and ensure successful growth.
In this role, you will work with our software providers, Linnworks. This will include but is not exclusive to:
•Automatic Purchase Order creation so orders are automatically placed with our suppliers when we run low on stock.
•Placement of our inventory onto other marketplaces (mainly Amazon and eBay) utilising functions that will list the SKU in a single item, packs of 2, packs of 6 etc.
•Helping integrate Warehouse Management Software (PeopleVox) into Linnworks so that we can barcode scan our orders as we pack them, and scan goods In and Out so that inventory is automatically updated when stock arrives.
•Report to Scott and the rest of the team on developments as they occur.
•More responsibilities would be developed throughout the internship period.
*This role holds tremendous potential for professional development as the right candidate would essentially create their own role within TheVeganKind team. The role is initially for six months, but a contract extension and wage review is expected for the right candidate.
This role would suit a recent IT graduate, returner to IT, or a candidate who can demonstrate relevant practical experience. With relevant experience and degree, you should be willing to make an immediate commitment to the business. Essential to this role is a firm belief in the values of TheVeganKind and the positive impact that veganism and plant-based living is making to the world. If you are smart, keen, and have a genuine interest in software and technology, then you are onto a winner with this role.
The following skills are relevant to the role:
•Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, such as Shopify
•Knowledge of marketing automation platforms, such as MailChimp
•Understanding of Multi-Channel software and its uses online
•Ability to work independently and to take ownership of your work and workload
•Excellent time management skills
•Ability to work in a team
•Confident verbal and written communication
•Willingness to develop the role into your own to fit TheVeganKind and its brand growth
•Be able and confident in problem-solving
